The included Reformer Box with Footstrap, Padded Platform Extender, Metal Roll-Up Pole, and Double Loop Straps allow users to perform a significantly wider range of exercises straight out of the box without purchasing additional equipment.

• If you need a stackable reformer for studio storage. This model cannot be stacked.

• If you require removable shoulder rests. The shoulder rests on this model are fixed and cannot be removed.

• If you want the highest level of adjustability available in Merrithew's commercial reformer range. The commercial SPX Max and V2 Max models offer additional features designed specifically for professional environments.

The At Home SPX Reformer is designed to provide studio-quality performance while remaining practical for residential use.

As a practical guide, plan for a room that offers:

Length: At least 10 ft (305 cm). This provides sufficient clearance for getting on and off the machine comfortably and allows full movement during exercises.

Width: At least 5 ft (152 cm). This provides room to access both sides of the reformer safely.

Ceiling height: At least 8.5 ft (259 cm). Merrithew recommends a minimum ceiling height of 99 in (2.51 m) for standing exercises performed on the platform with arms raised overhead.

Who it fits (height)

The At Home SPX Reformer is ideally suited for users between 60 in and 74 in (152 cm – 188 cm) in height.

• Best suited for users between 5'0" (152 cm) and 6'2" (188 cm).

• Adjustable footbar, gearbar, carriage stopper positions, and headrest allow the reformer to accommodate a wide range of body types and fitness levels.

• Users taller than 6'2" (188 cm) may still use the reformer comfortably depending on body proportions and exercise selection.

• Suitable for beginners through advanced practitioners.

Assembly

The At Home SPX Reformer arrives partially assembled and requires final setup.

• Minimal assembly is required.

• Most users can complete assembly within 1–2 hours.

• Two people are recommended when positioning the reformer.

• Standard hand tools may be required during setup.

Moving and storage

This reformer does not fold.

Maintenance Requirements:

• Wipe upholstery regularly using a damp microfiber cloth.

• Inspect springs periodically and replace when signs of wear appear.

• Check ropes, straps, clips, and moving components regularly.

• Clean aluminum rails to maintain smooth carriage travel.

• Tighten hardware periodically, particularly with frequent use.

• Follow Merrithew's care and maintenance recommendations to maximize equipment lifespan.

Limited Lifetime Warranty: Aluminum rails, frame components and related welds, and standard gearbar and footbar mechanisms (excluding the Rubber Footbar)

90 Days: Upholstery

1 Year: Ropes, straps, spring clips, plastic pulley bar receptacle sleeves, Comfort Footbar, spring covers, and plastic spring holders

2 Years: All other Reformer components

Shipping & Delivery

Large equipment ships via freight carrier, carefully packed in a cardboard or plywood box.

Standard delivery is curbside, as close to your entrance or garage as possible. The driver does not unload inside. Plan to have two people available to bring it in.

The carrier will call ahead to schedule your delivery. Missing your scheduled window may result in additional charges.

Before signing for delivery: inspect the outer box and note any visible damage on the waybill. Damage not noted at delivery cannot be claimed later. For damaged items, send photos to sales@pilatesmatters.com.

Returns & Cancellations

Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of ordering*. After 24 hours we'll do our best but cannot guarantee cancellation. Shipped orders cannot be cancelled or returned.

This product is final sale. As with most Merrithew™ equipment, the At Home SPX® Reformer Deluxe Bundle is not eligible for returns. Please review your order carefully before purchasing.
