The Merrithew At Home SPX Reformer Deluxe Bundle brings studio-quality STOTT PILATES performance home without dedicating space to a full commercial machine. Built on the same engineering that made Merrithew globally recognized, it delivers smooth carriage travel, adjustable resistance, and exceptional exercise versatility in a package designed specifically for home use.

What sets it apart is the patented rolling carriage, a high-performance spring package, and a full set of premium accessories. The included Reformer Box with footstrap, Padded Platform Extender, Metal Roll-Up Pole, and Double Loop Straps let you perform a significantly wider range of exercises straight out of the box, no extra equipment required.

Unlike many entry-level home reformers, the At Home SPX is built to withstand regular, high-intensity use while keeping the smooth, quiet ride Merrithew is known for. Its adjustable footbar, gearbar, carriage stopper, and headrest make it easy to adapt for different exercises, body types, and goals, and the bundle includes 60-day access to digital workouts on Merrithew Connect.

Choosing your height: Regular or Elevated

This bundle comes in two heights. Both are the same reformer with the same features and accessories — only the height off the floor (and price) differs:

• Regular (10 in / 25.4 cm off the ground): the standard home height.
• Elevated (16 in / 40.6 cm off the ground): raised for easier getting on and off — ideal for taller users, anyone with limited mobility, or those who’d rather not lower all the way to the floor.

When it’s not the right fit

• If you need equipment for a commercial studio. This model is for home use and is not warrantied for commercial or professional use.
• If you require tower or Cadillac functionality. The At Home SPX cannot be upgraded with a Vertical Frame.
• If you need a stackable reformer for studio storage, or removable shoulder rests. This model does not stack, and the shoulder rests are fixed.
• If you want the highest level of adjustability. The commercial SPX Max and V2 Max offer additional features for professional environments.

Materials

Durable vinyl upholstery, dense EVA foam cushioning, C-channel aluminum rails, high-performance steel springs, a Baltic Birch wooden standing platform, and commercial-quality components designed for long-term home use.

Resistance system

Traditional Springs Package, 5 Reformer springs: 4 at 100% resistance and 1 at 50%, with 5 neoprene spring covers for reduced noise. This combination supports strength development, flexibility training, rehabilitation exercises, endurance work, and full-body conditioning from beginner to advanced.

As a practical guide, plan for a room that offers:

• Length: at least 10 ft (305 cm) for comfortable mounting, dismounting, and full movement during exercises.
• Width: at least 5 ft (152 cm) to access both sides of the reformer safely.
• Ceiling height: at least 99 in (2.51 m) for standing exercises performed on the platform with arms raised overhead.

Who it fits (height)

• Best suited for users between 5’0" (152 cm) and 6’2" (188 cm), with a 250 lb (113.4 kg) weight capacity.
• Adjustable footbar, gearbar, carriage stopper, and headrest accommodate a wide range of body types and fitness levels.
• Users taller than 6’2" (188 cm) may still use it comfortably depending on body proportions and exercise selection.
• Suitable for beginners through advanced practitioners.

Assembly

• Arrives partially assembled; minimal assembly required.
• Most users can complete setup within 1–2 hours.
• Two people are recommended when positioning the reformer; standard hand tools may be required.

Moving and storage

• This reformer does not fold and cannot be stacked.
• Integrated easy-roll wheels make repositioning simple, and the lightweight frame is easier to move than most commercial reformers.

Maintenance Requirements:

• Upholstery: wipe regularly with a damp microfiber cloth.
• Springs, ropes & straps: inspect periodically and replace when signs of wear appear.
• Rails & hardware: clean the aluminum rails to maintain smooth carriage travel, and tighten hardware periodically, especially with frequent use.

Warranty

• Limited lifetime warranty: aluminum rails, frame components and related welds, and standard gearbar and footbar mechanisms (excluding the Rubber Footbar)
• 90 days: upholstery
• 1 year: ropes, straps, spring clips, plastic pulley bar receptacle sleeves, comfort footbar, spring covers, and plastic spring holders
• 2 years: all other Reformer components

Shipping & Delivery

• Please note: Merrithew products are excluded from free US shipping (and from shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico).
• Large equipment ships via freight carrier, carefully packed in a cardboard or plywood box.
• Standard delivery is curbside, as close to your entrance or garage as possible. The driver does not unload inside. Plan to have two people available to bring it in.
• The carrier will call ahead to schedule your delivery. Missing your scheduled window may result in additional charges.

Before signing for delivery: inspect the outer box and note any visible damage on the waybill. Damage not noted at delivery cannot be claimed later. For damaged items, send photos to sales@pilatesmatters.com.

Returns & Cancellations

• Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of ordering. After 24 hours we’ll do our best but cannot guarantee cancellation. Shipped orders cannot be cancelled or returned.
• This product is final sale. As with most Merrithew equipment (excluding accessories), this reformer is not eligible for returns. Please review your order carefully before purchasing.
